Sleep Apnea
Sleep apnea is a sleeping disorder wherein breathing stops and starts
repeatedly through the night. It can cause many difficulties, and we have
some methods you can use to prevent any lasting issues.
How We Can Help
Biggest Complaints
Most people who suffer from sleep apnea snore through the night, which prevents them from getting a good night’s sleep. Moreover, many patients who have dealt with sleep apnea for years and currently have a CPAP machine have complaints about the machine itself. When it comes to CPAP machines, many people need alternative treatment to truly tackle the issues stemming from sleep apnea.
Oral Appliances
Oral appliances are used for patients who need another solution for their sleep apnea. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine recommends oral appliance therapy for patients who suffer from mild or moderate sleep apnea. And if a patient suffers from severe sleep apnea, they recommend trying an oral appliance if the patient doesn’t tolerate the CPAP machine.
Benefits of Oral Appliances
- They are comfortable and easy to wear.
- They are quiet and don’t interrupt sleep.
- They are portable and convenient for travel.
- They are easy to clean.
Laser Snoring Therapy
We are also proud to offer a service to reduce the noise associated with snoring. Almost 85% of snoring is cause by vibration of the soft palate (the back part of the roof of your mouth). Using our state of the art dental laser we are able to reduce these vibrations, and in turn reduce the amount that you snore and also reduce the noise associated with snoring. This procedure lasts anywhere from 12-18 months and we have set up an easy subscription plan to help reduce the cost burden over time.
How to Pay
We bill oral appliance therapy through your insurance. The cost for the patient ends up being between $500-1500, for which we have finance plans available to help you pay monthly rather than all at once.
