What to Expect
Clear braces work in a simple way. They come as a series of mouthpieces, where each one moves the teeth a little over time. You wear one mouthpiece for two weeks, then switch to the next one, and so on. After about 6-8 months, your teeth should be aligned to your liking!
Our Tricks to Speed Up the Process
Buttons
A button is a small tooth-colored filling material that we can place on specific teeth. It helps the tooth move faster by allowing the clear braces tray to grab the tooth and move it faster.
Interproximal Reduction (IRP)
Here, we take a diamond disc and make a slit between two teeth to open up a little bit of space and allow them to move more easily. Each time we do IRP it only takes 0.3mm, so it’s unnoticeable. Doing this in a few strategic spots can open up enough space for teeth to move a lot faster.
